  The development of management skills within an organisation is an essential part of continued business growth. The Business Management programme (BM) offered by ABE is QCA accredited. It examines many areas of business and management, from marketing to economics and accounting. Course Summary

  This course is designed to give learners a good understanding of the responsibilities of a manager and the techniques they will use to deal with different situations as well as the legal requirements within their role. It is articulated to an MBA so therefore entry requirements will cover both courses.
University of Wales (UWIC) and Edge Hill University will accept students onto an MBA programme with 120 and 105 points credit respectively. Students will need to undertake the Research Methods Unit and a Dissertation.

  Ethics Module
  Students studying for the ACCA Qualification will be required to complete an online ethics training module developed by ACCA. Students will be given access to the Professional Ethics module by ACCA as soon as they become eligible to take Paper P1 and will be able to complete the module at their convenience.
   
  Minimum Entry Requirements
  The minimum entry requirements to register are 2 A level GCE plus three GCSE/GCE Ordinary level passes in five different subjects (including Maths and English) or equivalent overseas qualifications.
   
  Mature Students Entry Route
  Individuals over 21 years who do not meet the minimum entry requirements may register through the Mature Student Entry Route (MSER). This is designed for students who have the maturity and skills to deal with the ACCA Qualification instead of first undertaking the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification. MSER students must pass the equivalent of Paper F2, Management Accounting and Paper F3, Financial Accounting within two years of registering.
   
  Graduate Entry Route
  Relevant degree holders from ACCA-accredited institutions may be exempted from all nine exams within the Fundamentals level and register directly at the Professional level. Degrees with some relevance may also qualify for exemptions
   
  Exemptions
  Holders of Higher qualifications, i.e. MBA, MSc Finance or similar higher qualifications are considered for exemptions from some or all of the Fundamentals Level.
